Fishing activities in rivers and inland waters of the Po Plain: an ichtyoarchaeological study from the prehistory to historical times
Aim of the project is the study of fish bones recovered from archaeological sites (between the Neolithic and the Late Medieval period) located in the central-eastern portion of the Po Plain to understand the importance of fishing practices and how fish resources exploitation changed in a large time framework. Only in few Bronze Age sites fish bones were recovered: Lucone di Polpenazze (BS) pile dwelling and the Terramara of Pilastri (FE).
